Return of defective products
In the cases in which products of poor and defective quality were sold due to the proven fault of expertsport.gr or due to a mistake in receiving the order, in pricing, in shipping, damaged during transport, with poor packaging, etc. then expertsport.gr assumes full responsibility for the replacement, the return cost (then it will deposit the corresponding amount of expenses in a bank account indicated to it), as well as the reshipment costs.
IMPORTANT:All products are guaranteed by the respective official Greek importerand not by Expert Sport. Therefore, any product returned as defective should be sent by (either in physical form, or with detailed and characteristic photos highlighting the problem) to the official Greek representative/importer.
Only if the company acknowledges the hardware failure will we proceed with a product replacement or compensation (refund). However, if the company does not recognize the problem, we cannot take any action.
The return conditions remain the same as those mentioned above.
Order cancellation – Return of products (Right of withdrawal)
It is possible to cancel your order in the following cases:
A) Before shipping the product
Before shipping the product – Cancellation is possible by sending an e-mail to the email address info@expertsport.gr or by calling 2321022481 during the hours of 09 :00-14:30 and 18:00-21:00 Tuesday, Thursday and Friday or 09:00-14:30 Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
B) After receiving the product
After receiving the product you can exercise your right of withdrawal, within 10 calendar days from the day of receiving the product.
It is clarified that in order to proceed with the product return, the conditions mentioned above regarding damage to the returned products etc. must be met. Within 10 calendar days from the day you received the product, you have the right to return it and get your money back.
Every refund has a shipping charge. More detail:
Parcel Returns
- If the value of your order was up to €49.99, the amount that will be refunded to you will be reduced by €5from the total value of returned items (since you have already paid the shipping costs).
Example: if you order product(s) worth €40 (and you paid €45 when they were shipped), in case of a refund, you will receive:
€40 (value of returned product) – €5 = €35 - If the value of the order was over €50, the amount that will be refunded to you will be reduced by €10 from the total value of returned items (due to double shipping, €5 for shipping and an additional €5 for returning the product).
Example: if you order product(s) worth €100 (and you paid €100 when they were shipped, excluding shipping costs), in the event of a refund, you will receive:
€100 (value of returned product) – €10 = €90
The return of parcels to us must be done exclusively with ACS Courier.
In the event that you wish to use another transport company (other than ACS), then the shipping costs are borne solely by you.
Exceptions to bulky parcels:
In case you want a refund on bulky parcels, such as e.g. skateboards, skates, etc., then you will undertake the cost of returning them to us, with a Courier company of your choice.
Note: Returns by KTEL are not accepted.
In this case, the amount that will be returned to you will be reduced by €5 from the total value of the returned items (due to the increased shipping costs to you).
Example: if you order a Snowboard worth €350, the amount that will be refunded to you will be €345, and the cost of the return will be borne by you.
How are refunds made?
- In any case you should send us your Bank Account in IBAN format by email to the address info@expertsport.gr.
- The refund is made within 10 working days from the moment we receive your package.
- In the event that your Bank Account does not belong to Piraeus Bank or National Bank, then the costs of the transfer (commission) are borne exclusively by you.
- All refunds made to a bank account outside of Greece will be charged with remittance costs.
- If you choose another transport company for the return of the product, we will refund the entire purchase amount and the shipping costs will be borne solely by you.
In no case is it accepted to return a product by ordinary post (ELTA) or by KTEL.
Terms regarding product returns
- Product returns will only be accepted after consultation with our store.
- Products you wish to return must be in good condition, unused and in their original packaging to be accepted.
- Important: In any case returned products must be in the condition received by the customer.
This means you should:
- To be in excellent condition (with their factory packaging i.e. box or gelatin), without damage and signs of use
- Their packaging should be the one that normally accompanies the product, without damages, stickers etc.
For this reason, the parcels must be returned for return definitely packed in a bag! - To be accompanied by all the documents with which the product was delivered (e.g. Retail Receipt, Invoice, etc.).
If the above conditions are met, you are free to send it back to us.
Products that cannot be returned
In the following product categories:
- Underwear (for hygienic reasons)
- Swimwear (for hygiene reasons)
- Face masks (for hygiene reasons)
- Socks (for hygienic reasons)
- Ski boots that have been pre-drilled for mounting a binding
- SUP boards
no refunds, for obvious reasons.
Refusal to receive an order
In the event that you place an online or telephone order, it is sent to you and for personal reasons you refuse to receive it at the time of delivery, then you are charged in full for the shipping costs which are €10 (€5 for the sending the order from us to you and €5 for returning the order from you to us).
You will be notified of the above, by automated email & SMS. Otherwise, if there is no response from you, our company reserves the right to exercise all its legal rights.
Note: In the event that a customer has already refused the receipt of an order 1 time and in the future wishes to order again from our store, the permitted payment methods are: bank deposit, credit/debit card payment and PayPal. The cash on delivery method is not possible in this case.
In addition, since the previous debt has not been settled financially (€10), the cost of the new order is automatically increased by €10.
